We kind of exploded as a cast. In the best way possible. But now that we're all here and so may of us are new, let's talk about stuff!

Things to consider:

- Handwaved interaction. What are routine things our dudes are (will be) doing together?
- Living arrangements? Who is where and what is going on...
- Role in the Luceti Alliance which is not actually called that but an alternative name was never really agreed on. What's the sitch here?
- WHAT IS EVERYONE DOING WHO EVEN ARE WE???

Things have calmed down enough on my end that I'll be introing Eren/having him hit up some posts soon, but just in case I wanted to clear stuff with you guys/share what I guess is happening! I'd be cool transferring over CR from trainingwings (though I went with a different canonpoint, it shouldn't change most of the stuff that happened) because I know intros are all kinds of tedious—I could pick back up on tagging those if you guys would prefer, or we could start new stuff! And/or handwave. Whichever's easiest/most fun.

Timeline-wise he'd be running into Annie first, but besides that I've got nothing really planned if there's anything you'd all like to do. I believe he'll be living with Jean and Marco which will probably be a trainwreck but yolo

OH RIGHT and reading over Kath's stuff, he'd probably be interested in having some way to communicate with Marco haha, and probably school... not that he'd be great at it but is eren ever really good at anything

I HAVE A QUESTION!

When you intro Eren, will you backdate the entry to the 9th (the date of Annie's arrival log), or will it be not so much an intro but a "been here a few days and know what's going on, still settling in" kind of thing? If the latter is the case, are you assuming Eren has already met up with the pre-existing cast or that he's kept to himself for the past few days?

i'd been considering backdating something, though it didn't occur to me to check if that's actually a thing in luceti :|a i generally avoid making immediate arrival/'where am i' posts, so alternatively i was thinking either i could thread out something where he'd get some answers from a few immediate castmates (kind of like the test drive meme) and then kind of meet the rest as the week progresses.

i could also just have him run into people a few days late. ultimately i guess it depends on whether or not i'll be carrying over the test drive progress. that could theoretically be 'arrival' stuff, or if not i could make a separate post and figure out an ic reason for the ooc delay, whichever ends up working better for everyone.

If you want to handwave the usual arrival stuff and accept selected test drive happenings as actual Luceti canon, I would be fine with that if you are.

Actually (and this is just one of many possibilities to choose from), we could continue from Jean and Eren's thread in an appointments post, if you wanted. Jean could take him home with him ~~(why does everything I type come out gay)~~ and begrudgingly help him get settled. And like...explain to him that Marco is here and alive, so it's not all SURPRISE BITCH, BET YOU THOUGHT YOU SAW THE LAST OF ME when Eren walks in through the door. (Also if Meowzy is cool with this. MEOWZY CAN THIS BE A THING?)

so i guess what i'm taking forever to say is that both opportunities are open: if you'd rather we handwave a general first meeting and then do a less immediate intro, that's perfectly cool with me. likewise i'd be happy to continue where we left off (which could be fun because they can talk about his not!dead not!boyfriend).

it's getting a little late over here, but i'm thinking of doing some kind of open post tomorrow? still need to figure out the exact logistics for it timeline-wise but i'd love to have them run into each other for a reunion early! was there any way in particular you'd like for it to go down, or things i should know about petra's plans? c:

haha, I'm not in any rush. I don't know if whether or not it'd be better for Eren to get a heads up about her being around before they see each other or not? I'm sure he probably heard about the dead coming back, so yeah.

he'll be getting the 'dead friends are now not dead' spiel from jean early i believe, so yeah he won't have the worst reaction haha. otherwise they could have a sort of chance meeting once they've both had a few days to settle? i'll be trying my best to get a post up today, so if that'd interest you i could shoot you a ping

So as long as living with Jean and Marco isn't a trainwreck that Mikasa has to clean up...ahem... But once she figures out Eren is here she'll be popping up around him to check on him. Routine stuff, I guess. ~~if she does go to school she might drag him with her because learning things is Important~~

I think the only thing of concern would be the difference in canon points; she's chapter 51 and he's 34. How much should she be telling him regarding what happened and such (like info about Bertolt, Reiner, Ymir, etc)?

That said I'm really open to whatever sort of interaction you want them have :)

mikasaaaaaa!! i know she tends to stay attached to eren's hip when she can, so i'd be down for assuming they keep in touch with each other on a pretty frequent basis? they could definitely go to school together, how cute is that

as far as IC spoilers go, it's all fair game—the reason i took him from an earlier point is so he won't be so vehemently upset at reiner/bert since he's kind of a 'i'll believe it when i see it' sort of guy. if it comes up organically in conversation, it's totally fine! that said i probably won't be gunning to have him learn anything about the future, so i'm not even sure if it'll come up. but if it does, you've got free reign to do what feels most IC c:

Ereeeeeen! and yes I'm down for that. She probably asks him every morning if he's slept okay (and if he's been arguing with Jean). It would be very cute, actually.

And I'm good with what you proposed. Actually, some to think of it, I feel she'll be hesitant bringing it up in the first place. Hannes dying and Eren's New Titan Powers are still something she's taking in and she'll be relieved to put it all behind her for a little while.

Shiganshina bonding time is the best time :3 and I will let you know if there is anything.

no but really things will probably be hella awkward, though i'd love to explore that a little -- i plan on catching up with stuff tonight and while i'm sure a lot of it'll depend on how this first thread goes, i'd love for them to do some sparring/talking/work things out to some.... varying amount of success
