We kind of exploded as a cast. In the best way possible. But now that we're all here and so may of us are new, let's talk about stuff!

Things to consider:

- Handwaved interaction. What are routine things our dudes are (will be) doing together?
- Living arrangements? Who is where and what is going on...
- Role in the Luceti Alliance which is not actually called that but an alternative name was never really agreed on. What's the sitch here?
- WHAT IS EVERYONE DOING WHO EVEN ARE WE???

This post is already very professional and organized, yes.

Please dump any commentary on where you think your character fits into any of this. Seriously, just start talking. We'll go from there.

tbh Annie will likely avoid the group depending on what kind of "keeping an eye on her" they opt to do. I joke about the hot springs a lot, but it is a place she might consider once she figures out those creepy teleporting things... she does not really feel like being anywhere near Levi, Erwin, and Hange in particular.

What's probably most important for me is knowing how the rest of you guys want to handle Annie, or to what degree you want - I can have her be that annoying thorn that keeps evading watch, or have it be handwaved someone always has an eye on what she does and ping people if anything of interest or that might call for interference comes up.

What kinds of scenarios are you guys actually interested in? I don't want to be dragging you into babysitting duties, and what Annie decides to do will depend on................. the way things flow. She isn't pleased with the set up, the idea of the drafts, or anything here, tbh, and she wouldn't be opposed to ultimately teaming up.........................

but hange please stay way over there kthnx and there are things she can't tell anyone because (for one I don't know) and for another, it's not in her nature to do so

I think for me personally I don't want to inhibit your ability to play her and have her interact with other characters (obviously). Levi will want to keep a close eye on her, but even with the influx of more survey corps members, he knows that they don't really have the manpower to keep her locked down or even necessarily on 24/7 surveillance.

THAT BEING SAID I think we should handwave that there will be a constant effort to keep an eye on her movements, which may include trying to monitor the people she interacts with (such as potential enemies, if any). BUT in that same vein of course there will be flexibility if you want to try to plan something covert with her that they CAN'T see, that's obviously something I want you to be able to do also.

Levi will likely attempt to harass her in some way at just about every turn he gets, so I apologize in advance for that fjeigejf sob.

I think Mikasa was only trigger happy to take Annie down in canon because of Eren. I would give a limb to have seen more interaction between them incanon...but since we haven't, I'm down for making it up if you are.

weekly sparring yes/no? She won't ask questions about Titan powers; she finds out more by observing than asking.

Some things worth noting in regards to Jean:

- Marco suckered him into going to school, which you can read more about here (runs Mon-Thurs, 9-2:30). ARMIN, EREN, MIKASA, DO YOU WANT TO LEARN THINGS ABOUT STUFF TOO? Or...Annie... (unsure)

- Speaking of Marco, they live together in Flame Building, Room 10 and have 2 spare bedrooms (eyebrow waggle).

- Daily training in the Battle Dome (not necessarily 3DMG all the time because gas supplies are limited). With the 3DMG he's been training against simulated Third Party soldiers (the enemy they'll be facing if thrown into the Malnosso's war), with emphasis on honing precision for the sake of slicing off their wings (always a weak point, causing instant death if removed). Often trains with Marco, but has a few other assorted training partners, or flies solo (hah). Not sure if large group training sessions have ever been a thing?

- Sign language (ASL) lessons with Ginia (whiskytraitorfirefight). This is due to Marco's recently acquired death penalty which has rendered him mute. Presumably, other Survey Corps members will be learning ASL too? In which case they are too numerous to go all at once, probably.

- He commissioned Adela the blacksmith (enchantressofore) for replacement blades for the 3DMG. I assume Erwin, Levi, and Marco would already be aware of this supply source, and the other Survey Corps members will be informed as well. Sorry, Annie, he's gonna keep this one from you.

And ASL is appealing; it's handy to know as well. Since he's been around here for such a long time, she might ask him for a tour of the place fff

Okay Levi's Routine/stuff I tend to handwave:

Levi's day is often a combination of training, scouting, and meeting with contacts as necessary. He also does a fair amount of regular food gathering and drinking tea in the tea shop and observing / monitoring the network.

Training:

-LOCATIONS: Battle Dome, Forest, or out back of Flame building, occasionally with Peggy Carter.

-COMBAT STYLES: Hand to hand*, Firearms/shooting with Ginia, 3DMG in the Battle Dome and/or forest

*I figure that he (they) need(s) to boost their hand to hand skills since they're usually used to fighting TITANS and not PEOPLE. Not necessarily that they haven't had training or aren't decent fighters in this regard, but as far as I can tell the Survey Corps rarely has a reason to fight actual people in actual battle situations.

-CORPS: I figure that he's probably tried to instill some kind of training routine with Jean and Marco, probably every day? However this has been going, the rest of the corps now joining will also be part of this (except for maybe Hange, unless she's leading).

Sign Language: Levi and Erwin have been learning sign language from Ginia and so far they've picked up quite a bit that they can have basic conversations with her. I don't think it's necessary for ALL of the corps to learn it extensively, but some basic signs so that they can communicate on missions/in battle will probably be good for them to learn, and you guys can handwave at your on discretion. IIRC Jean and Marco have learned a little more because Marco is currently mute also.

MEETINGGGSSS: Going to guess that they meet up with Jean and Marco to exchange information fairly regularly...not necessarily every day? But every few days. And of course anything particularly noteworthy should be reported in. BUT we could also handwave that they are having regular debriefings.

LIVING ARRANGEMENTS: Levi and Erwin are sharing an apt on the 7th floor of flame building, room 33. They've got one room open...although think carefully if you want to live in the same apartment as Levi as you'll be subject to his house rules.

OH AND HE WILL MAKE YOU ALL SCRUB YOUR ROOMS IF HE FINDS THEM DIRTY. still need to do this thread with Jean and Marco ahaha sob

All right, Farlan just arrived, so he doesn't have much going on yet. He has been bumbling and skulking around and exploring and stockpiling food and gathering intel and doing other survivalist-type things. He's good at scheming and stealing.

He lives in Flame Building, Floor 6, Room 29.

Honestly, he'll probably follow Levi's lead (and also keep an eye on and look after him), unless someone or something intervenes.

Things have calmed down enough on my end that I'll be introing Eren/having him hit up some posts soon, but just in case I wanted to clear stuff with you guys/share what I guess is happening! I'd be cool transferring over CR from trainingwings (though I went with a different canonpoint, it shouldn't change most of the stuff that happened) because I know intros are all kinds of tedious—I could pick back up on tagging those if you guys would prefer, or we could start new stuff! And/or handwave. Whichever's easiest/most fun.

Timeline-wise he'd be running into Annie first, but besides that I've got nothing really planned if there's anything you'd all like to do. I believe he'll be living with Jean and Marco which will probably be a trainwreck but yolo

OH RIGHT and reading over Kath's stuff, he'd probably be interested in having some way to communicate with Marco haha, and probably school... not that he'd be great at it but is eren ever really good at anything

I HAVE A QUESTION!

When you intro Eren, will you backdate the entry to the 9th (the date of Annie's arrival log), or will it be not so much an intro but a "been here a few days and know what's going on, still settling in" kind of thing? If the latter is the case, are you assuming Eren has already met up with the pre-existing cast or that he's kept to himself for the past few days?

I think the only thing of concern would be the difference in canon points; she's chapter 51 and he's 34. How much should she be telling him regarding what happened and such (like info about Bertolt, Reiner, Ymir, etc)?

That said I'm really open to whatever sort of interaction you want them have :)

OKAY idk things armin will definitely be interested in:

- school, because he's a nerd. but no seriously, he'll be attending because he wants to learn everything, but especially magic because it's a new thing that they've never had access to before, might as well take advantage of it

- going to the beach so he can cry over it like a weenie, i'm not joking. can we please have an snk beach episode. because we're sure as hell not getting one in canon

- figuring out stuff about malnosso, even if this means getting into dangerous shit. as soon as i know more about how to get him involved with plot stuff i'm gonna do the thing

uh what else...re: living arrangements, i mean he'd probably tag along to wherever eren goes because they're bros like that but if he has to wake up to jean and eren screaming at each other every morning, he's totally moving out.

This is going to sound very similar to Levi's activities since these old dudes pretty much do everything together ahaha but here goes anyway:

Erwin lives with Levi in Flame Building apartment 33 on the seventh floor. They have one room still open, but Erwin's not about to offer to anyone but Hange--which Levi would probably disagree with anyway ahahaaaa

A typical day consists of some training at the Battle Dome (oftentimes with Levi doing hand-to-hand combat for reasons talked about in Levi's post, though sometimes without), meeting up with contacts/allies, sometimes taking out a horse to the waysations in the forest, exploring (sometimes with others and sometimes alone), and monitoring the journal network throughout. I also assume there have been semi-frequent meetings with Jean and Marco as well, though he probably doesn't see them as much as Levi does.

Erwin hangs out a lot with some other old people called Ginia (whiskytraitorfirefight) and Kakashi (ura_no_ura). He and Levi have been learning modern weaponry from Ginia basically in an effort to keep up with others in Luceti and stay relevant battle-wise. She's been teaching them ASL as well because it seems useful for communicating more stealthily, and also Marco hasn't been able to speak since he died again. Kakashi is the dude spearheading the alliance plot and Erwin's gotten in on that, so they've become planning bros.

Speaking of the alliance, since Erwin's kind of committed himself and his people, you will all probably be getting dragged into that SORRY. But basically it's just a group of military types who want to teach and learn from each other so they can better protect themselves and the village and maybe overthrow the Malnosso one day HOPEFULLY.

BUT YEAH that's been Erwin's life recently. He'll want to have an in-person meeting with everyone asap. Except you Annie. You're not invited. Because they're going to be talking about you behind your back.

also he comes from chapter 48 so he still has a right arm. Levi has purposefully neglected to tell him about that actually but he will probably be finding out soon enough!!

I tried to think of specific things Petra would be doing, but it's all boiling down to following Levi around like a lost puppy, which will probably last for a little while until she settles most of her sudden feelings about being dead and how all of her besties are dead, too. this isn't that different from back home honestly

But she'll also be staying (somewhere) in the Flame Building, and she'll start trying to make sure the kids are eating their vegetables, cleaning their rooms so Levi won't scold them them, and be a cool big sis to everyone--especially you, Eren--, and also helping out with whatever tasks Erwin needs to be done. She won't be too interested in school, but magic!! what is this weird stuff??

But here's the breakdown:

Handwaving -- daily stuff like some conversations? And threading out important things that mention canon or game plot stuff. (Eren, she has her eye on you. Just because there aren't any Titans here doesn't mean you can't get into trouble.)

Living arrangements -- I have not figured this out yet. She can live alone or with other people; she isn't picky. But it'll probably be in the same building as other people she knows.

Miscellaneous -- between school, training, kicking ass, and trying to make sure her trio's okay, she'll just be trying to settle in and when she sees posts relevant to her, she'll answer them and such. I don't think she'll post all that much unless it's something important. Most likely I'm doing a lot of [action] whenever I post because she prefers it.

action is definitely easier, and I'll make a good effort to hit up people's action for that reason alone (or offering that option in posting, since i can figure a few things annie would ask after to get pointed, quick answers)
